Cannulated Headless Full Threaded Screw CHFS. 2.8 Micro, 3.6 Mini, and 4.1 Standard, 4.7 X-Standard, 5.0 Large, 7.5 X-Large Compression CHFS screws can be used for a wide range of indications in the upper and lower extremities. They are intended for repairing intra-articular and extraarticular fractures and nonunions of small bones and small bone fragments, arthrodesis, and osteotomies. The variable-stepped thread pitch, headless design provides compression, and allows for simplified insertion. Using these screws, surgeons can now achieve zero-profile stable fixation.
▲Continuously Variable : The fully threaded continuously variable thread pitch screw design provides greater compression and a larger window of compression compared to partially threaded Herbert-style screw designs
▲Fully Threaded Length : Biomechanical studies have shown that fully threaded screws better handle cyclic loading compared to AO and Herbert screws
